Blocked website? Request access or unblocking

Modified on Wed, 11 Jan, 2023 at 10:29 AM

Sometimes you may encounter the following block screen when browsing the web; we're not being mean, we're simply blocking anything that's potentially dangerous or has been requested so by your management team.

How to request a site to be allowed

You can get help through the normal Lineal channels (phone, email or our support portal), but for your convenience, you can request a site to be allowed directly from this block page!

Click the little blue link titled "Click here" and a contact form will appear. Fill in the details and a ticket will be raised for you with our support team.

Why did the site get blocked in the first place?

Generally sites are blocked because they contain malicious or dangerous content. On many normal, sensible websites these blocks can be triggered by ads or other embedded content which the website operator may not have control over.

The only categories of site we filter by default are:

  • Adult content
  • Botnets
  • Contentious & misinformation
  • Cryptomining
  • Hacking & cracking
  • Malware
  • Peer-to-Peer & illegal
  • Phishing & deception
  • Terrorism & hate
  • Domains under 24 hours old
