Unable to view "What's New" or "Help" function in Office applications

This is likely due to either a GPO setting, or local computer policy.


For the GPO settings, check the below path in group policy editor:


User Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Office 2016\Privacy\Trust Center.



Microsoft call these functions "Connected Experience" and they need to be enabled for it to work.


NOTE: Check you are using the correct admx files for the version of office they are using.
